A Memorable Memorial Day Weekend

We have had a busy Memorial Day Weekend at our house. Ted's twin brother Lon, his wife Sandee, and their daughter Ann came from California to spend the weekend with us.

Ann is 9 months younger than Sydney and whenever they visit the girls are inseperable. They play together and get along so well. We only get to see them once or twice a year, so when they come we try to make the most of the time we have. The girls watched videos, rode the ATV each day, did some crafts projects, and just had fun being GIRLS!

We spent a lot of time visiting the cemetaries and talking about our ancestors. I learned a lot of things about Ted's family that I didn't know. It really makes me appreciate all the sacrifices that they made so our lives could be better.

We are already counting down the weeks until their next visit (6 weeks 2 days)

You got the background to work, and with all the sidebar stuff! It looks VERY cute! It was fun to hang out and visit a bit this weekend. One of these days you'll have to give us a family history lesson on the Dearden's, neither Derrick or I know much at all.
